Join our AI Digital Art Competition 2025 : My Digital Banking Aspiration, This Merdeka and Beyond.

This free online challenge is specially curated by AEON Bank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education - Sports, Co-Curricular and Arts Division, and the National Art Gallery, under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. 

It aims to spark creativity among Malaysians students and inspire future leaders, junior innovators and young talents to embrace Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, while challenging bright young minds to create original digital artwork using AI tools, explore the potential of emerging technologies and adopt digital skills that are increasingly vital in today’s tech-driven world. The competition also serves as a platform for students to express their vision of Malaysia’s fintech and digital future through their own creative lens.

Theme : My Digital Banking Aspiration, This Merdeka and Beyond

Competition duration : 26 August 2025 - 23 September 2025

Closing date/time : 23 September 2025, 11.59pm

Category

Open to Malaysian students aged 7 - 17 years old with a valid MyKad or MyKid. 

The students can participate in one of the five categories: 

• Neko Comel : 7 – 9 years old
• Neko Kecil : 10 – 12  years old
• Neko Juara : 13 – 15 years old
• Neko Wira : 16 – 17 years old 
• Neko Kucing : Special category for the children of AEON Bank employees

Prizes and Winners Selection

Symbolic of the 68th year of Merdeka, there will be a total of 68 winners ; Neko Comel : 12 winners, Neko Kecil : 12 winners, Neko Juara : 20 winners, Neko Wira : 20 winners, and Neko Kucing : 4 winners. In addition to that, the first 300 valid submissions will be rewarded with participation gifts.

The winning digital artworks will also be showcased at the National Art Gallery during the prize giving ceremony in October 2025.

Judging Criteria

All the submitted artwork will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• 50% theme relevance
• 50% creativity, uniqueness and originality of the  artwork 
• The artwork must be original. Do not plagiarise existing work of arts and do not copy the creative style of any artists or animation studio

• Your prompt text
• Screenshot to prove that your prompt produced the submitted artwork
• Full name of the student
• MyKad/MyKid number
• Parents/guardian’s name
• School name

Note : Only one submission is allowed for each MyKad / MyKid number
